Swimming |
Tou-Jia Elementary School has the largest swimming pool in Taichung County with a length 40m and a width 25m fix up to 22 drains at the same time, and has hot water showers. We have swimming class in PE class for eight weeks every semester for every student at Tou-Jia Elementary School. In addition to the PE teachers, we also engage two coaches in every class to make sure the teaching quality is good, and to keep students safe..
The swimming class is divided by students’ levels to assist learning objectives. Dividing the class into groups makes instruction manageable, and ensures teaching. The graduates must pass a test in100m free style and dog paddle 50m.
We also have a swimming team, with excellent players, and although it has only been established for a short time, we’ve already won many fantastic rewards including first place in the Mayor Cup swimming competition in Shalu. Teacher Hsu-Yu Kai is the present guiding coach of our school, and we believe that we will win many words in the future. |

| Center Kitchen |
 |
Our school spent millions upon millions of dollars to build a center kitchen which conforms with the HACCP endangered-factor standards. The food is directly purchased through unified contracting systems divided into terms. This allows us to purchase fresh food as often as possible. Besides offering nutritional and hygienic food we put dining-amenity into practice. Our lunch is nutritious, hygienic and delicious. The workers also have to pass a test every year. Our school promotes a hygienic lunch and a thankful education, and we use lunch time to inform students of nutritional and festival teachings |
